Johnsonville Cycles is run by me "him" Francis Hoen (owner) and Blair Webb the chief mechanic. I am a veteran (40+) MTB racer with ten national series (’93 vet XC winner) and countless local events behind me. I have competed at three (94, 97, 98) world champs. I currently ride a Merlin mountain XC bike, Jamis XLT Trail bike, Eddy Merckx Titanium AX road bike, 1983 Classic Healing MTBike, Raceline Rhino 20" trials bike, Raleigh Taurus Titanium single speed and a Scott team racing MTB converted for road use…However his current fetish is for vintage motorcross bikes.. Francis is reliving some of his mis-spent adolescence rebuilding classic MX and Enduro machines from the 70’s and 80’s ..what a life!!

Blair has a cycling history that goes way back to the days when Wellington had a road and track scene where he competed as a junior in competition.

Blair, like many J’Ville.Cycles riders: Blair Rides all the time and has enough choices to make most of our eyes water. He does have one request for all customers ! If you are bringing your bike/s to the workshop for repairs…..please bring it in clean!! We do not have a cleaning service … cheers
